Day 25 - 4/26/04
Jeffrey City, WY to Lander, WY

Today's ride included a big descent.  Lander is in a valley.  Today was the first day since I've entered Wyoming that it was warm enough to ride in shorts.  Really spectacular outcrops as I descended down.  It's nice to be in a real town again, Lander has about 7K people, grocery stores, restaurants, etc.

The people here at the Maverick hotel have been very nice and very informative.  I discovered I have a big problem.  I'm just a few days away from entering the Grand Tetons and then Yellowstone, and I just found out that some of the roads and campgrounds I would like to use aren't scheduled to open until mid-May.  Not sure what to do, will call the Park Service tomorrow to get more details.
