Day 38 - 5/09/04
Darby, MT to Missoula, MT
72 miles

A slightly downhill ride following the Bitterroot River most of the way down to Missoula.  It was a fairly uneventful day.  An interesting thing up here is that many of the convenience stores have small casinos attached to them.  The "casinos" are small bars with slot machines and video poker.  Anyway, I thought it was kind of odd to see a bar with gambling machines attached to the Exxon station.  Missoula is the last major town I'll see for a while, so I plan on having some adjustments done to the bike and checking out the university, and if the weather is okay I'll head out on the 11th.
