Houston, TX to Lubbock, TX
Another scenic ride, at least until it started raining on
me. When the sun is out in the spring up here, the scenery
is just stunning. The wildflowers are in full bloom, and the
glacial lakes are really beautiful. I'm less than 10 miles from
the border, so if the weather is decent tomorrow I should cross into
Canada.
Saw a couple of bicyclers going the other way down the highway.
Stopped and talked to one for a while. He was an older guy going
from Seattle area to Maryland. He seemed to be holding up pretty
well.
My friends Anna and Daniel left today with the fully loaded U-Haul
towing my jeep. I'll try and track my stuff's progress on this
page as well.
