Day 63 - 6/03/04
Prophet River Provincial Park, BC to Fort Nelson, BC
69 miles

The temperature got up into the 70's today, the first time that's happened in quite a while.  I had a mostly flat, mostly downhill ride into Fort Nelson.  I visited the local museum, which was quite interesting.  The showpiece of the museum is a garage full of antique cars and trucks that are all kept running by one older gentleman that works there.  As you can see from the photos they have quite a varied collection.  I'm staying at an interesting motel.  It is a little run down now, but it clearly used to be a pretty upscale place.  It has rooms overlooking a large courtyard with an elaborately decorated indoor pool (that is currently empty).  I'll try to remember to post a picture of the interior tomorrow.
